Hi ! I’m Cara. I was born and raised in Ohio, USA, and I now live in the South of France with my husband and our four children. I studied Literature (and I still love reading), and have been teaching English for many of the 19 years I’ve been living in France. 

I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in French and a Master’s Degree in French Literature, while also teaching French at the University.  At the end of my studies, I also obtained the TEFL Certificate for Teaching English as a Foreign Language, which is what I have been doing for years here in France. I have taught children, teens, and adults, both in conversation practice and Business English. 

I’m combining this love of reading with my English teaching experience to create these Book Clubs, where you can practice and improve your language skills all around reading a particular book and meeting weekly to discuss it together!
